Rates

My fees depend on the length of the document or audio file, the technicality, and the turnaround time. For transcription, things like the number of speakers, audio quality, and time coding may affect the rate. But in general, I charge the following:

Proofreading (for a standard manuscript page of 250 words/page):

$0.02/word for documents up to 10,000 words

$25/hour for documents over 10,000 words

Transcription (for good audio quality with up to four speakers and no time codes):

$1.30/audio minute
